On strengthening bilateral relations with France. 

India and France have strengthened bilateral ties, which are reinforced by a shared vision to cooperate for further enhancing peace and prosperity for our two countries and the world at large. Our strong strategic and economic partnership is complemented by a shared perspective on major global concerns such as terrorism, climate change, etc. 

On solidification of defence and Military relations. 

Defence industrial cooperation is one of the mainstays of the strategic partnership between India and France, said a statement issued after the joint interaction. The two sides expressed satisfaction over the progress made in the implementation of agreements signed, particularly the delivery of the first Rafale combat aircraft from this year.

They reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen cooperation in defence industry field and extended their support to existing and upcoming partnerships between the defence companies of the two countries in the spirit of "Make in India" and for the mutual benefit of both countries. 

On international rule based Indo-pacific region. 

Based on a shared commitment to maintaining the freedom of navigation, particularly in the Indo-Pacific zone, maritime security cooperation between France and India is a domain of excellence in their strategic partnership. In this regard, France and India welcomed the swift implementation of the conclusions of the Joint Strategic Vision of India-France Cooperation in the Indian Ocean Region. 

On global climate change. 

India and France reaffirmed the importance of fulfilling the commitments under UNFCCC and the Paris Agreementand also urged all developed countries to scale up their contributions to Green Climate Fund in its first replenishment cycle in line with their commitments. in light of different national circumstances, and reflecting the highest possible level of national ambition, in line with Paris Agreement.

Strengthening India's priorities with United Arab Emirates. 

India and the UAE enjoy warm, close and multi-faceted relations underpinned by cultural, religious and economic linkages which, during the Prime Minister’s previous visit to the UAE during August, 2015, stood elevated to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday discussed ways to improve trade and cultural ties between India and the UAE with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi the with a full spectrum of the strong India-UAE partnership", which has been built over generations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi late was conferred with "The King Hamad Order of the Renaissance" during his meeting with King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on various bilateral and regional issues.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump held a bilateral meet on the sidelines of G7 Summit in Biarritz, France on Monday. Trump said that the two leaders discussed Kashmir and Pakistan earlier during their meet. Modi added that the issues between Pakistan and India are 'bilateral' and added that we do not want to give inconvenience to third parties in the world over Kashmir. India and Pakistan were together before 1947, We can discuss and resolve these issues bilaterally.

We spoke last night about Kashmir, Prime Minister really feels he has it under control. They speak with Pakistan and I'm sure that they will be able to do something that will be very good," said Trump in his opening remarks during the joint press conference between the two leaders. Trump said that the Indian prime minister had assured him that the situation in Kashmir was under control. “We spoke last night about Kashmir... and the Prime Minister really feels that he has the situation under control,” the US president said.  

the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen their partnership with the objective of arriving at an even more robust, close and complementary relationship including synergising of their approaches towards issues of regional and global importance.

the two leaders discussed ways to broaden their strategic partnership in defense and military and greatly increase trade between the United States and India.Though trade is an important part of the booming bilateral strategic partnership. this was something we could have a constructive approach towards strengthening multilateral cooperation in regional and international level. 

Besides trade and investment, security has also become an important component of relations since 2015. During that visit, the ties were elevated to the status of a ‘comprehensive strategic partnership. 

Expanding the spheres of cooperation with United kingdom. 

PM Modi discussed strengthening bilateral ties in trade & investment, defence and security, and education sectors. Discussions focused on strengthening our bilateral ties going forward, inter alia, in trade & investment, defence & security, S & T and education sectors. The two leaders are discussed ways to strengthen India-UK cooperation in trade, defence and security. 

UK Prime minister boris Johnson backed India's internationally-stated stand and said that Kashmir was a bilateral matter between New Delhi and Islamabad. During a telephone call early this week, Johnson told Modi that Kashmir remains a bilateral matter between India and Pakistan as far as the UK’s view is concerned.

The Prime Minister made clear that the UK views the issue of Kashmir as one for India and Pakistan to resolve bilaterally. He underlined the importance of resolving issues through dialogue. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted India’s large scale efforts towards eliminating single use plastic, conserving water, harnessing solar energy and protecting flora and fauna for a sustainable future in his address to a G7 session on environment here. He has Underlined India’s contribution to address reducing biodiversity, climate change, water stress & ocean pollution. He also highlighted India's efforts in putting digital technology to use to fight social inequalities through empowerment and inclusion during a G7 session on Digital Transformation here.

India's three nation tour and high octane multilateral agreements is the reflection of the desire and will of the countries to sustain the momentum achieved in the bilateral relationship. India has sought to play a greater role in resolving global challenges and shaping the international rules, norms, and processes that guide these efforts. Three emerging shifts in the international order have played a key role in catalyzing India’s rising stature in the international order: terrorism, climate change, and the rise of China. The qualitative enhancement of these ties is among one of our foremost foreign policy achievements. India's visit with world leaders would further strengthen our multifaceted bilateral ties in a competitive world. 

G-7 Summit is an important milestone, during which these leaders agreed to strengthen coordination, build consensus, enhance cooperation and promote world peace, stability and development. The Informal Summit imparted fresh impetus into the plurilateral cooperation. They  reiterated their commitment to work together to further their cooperation on important issues discussed at the Informal Summit and take the bilateral cooperation to a new level.

They have covered bilateral and regional matters and was marked by the warmth and cordiality which characterises the relations between the leaders on the sidelines of G-7 Summit. countries are resolved to further enhance their cooperation in upholding and promoting international law and in establishing of a just and equitable international order based on international law.

India and leaders across the world have underscored to deepening the multifaceted relations. The leaders reiterated their strong commitment to further strengthening and invigorating the traditionally strong and friendly relations between India and World leaders nurtured by geographical contiguity, ethnic, historical, military and defence relations, socio-economic and cultural ties between the peoples of the two countries. They also reiterated an abiding faith in, and commitment to democracy, development, international peace and security and peaceful co-existence.

The development of the India-G7 nations comprehensive strategic partnership a priority and strengthen cooperation in international and regional issues. Under the agreement, these nations will provide each other with firm support on issues concerning national sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity and security.
