India-China border conflict on UT Ladakh
Geopolitical flashpoints edging closer with increase in the number of Chinese transgressions into the Indian side of the (LAC) in UT Ladakh and with the increase of Indian military reinforcements in UT Ladakh. India is set to consolidate more power on UTLadakh a conventional deterrence as an instrumental of geopolitical weapon to adversaries. India reserves the right to use greater military force to bring it into the fold that have the potential dangerous military consequences with an unreasonable aggression on chinese side.
Illegal military transgressions into UT Ladakh such attempt will not succeed and does not serve the interests of either side nor contribute to international cooperation and will undermine mutual trust and cooperation between the two sides this would invite severe retaliation with an unimaginable proportions from India & international community including United States. India reserves the right to retaliate to any Chinese provocations comprehensively the would result in heightening the conflict dynamics in the region.
We expresses strong indignation and firm opposition to China's illegal transgressions blatantly obstructs other sovereignties from developing legitimate diplomatic relations with China that seriously harms our sovereignty and security interests. China's transgressions in UT Ladakh constitutes a gross violation of the fundamental principles of international law, including, in particular the Charter of the United Nations.
India's position on the Jammu & Kashmir is very firm & consistent and this issue remains unchanged. The entire Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, including the areas of Gilgit and Baltistan, are an integral part of India by virtue of its fully legal and irrevocable accession. Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has been, is and shall continue to be an integral part of India. China is well aware of India's consistent position on this issue. China continues to be in occupation of a large tract of area in the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh which is tantamount to violation of UNSC & UN Charter. India has sovereignty and jurisdiction over the entire UT Ladakh & UT Jammu and Kashmir in accordance with international law.
China should be cautious and exercise restraint and resolve differences through dialogue and consultation to avoid further escalation. We firmly believe all countries need to abide by international law and basic norms governing international relations without resorting to threat or use of force. China should respect India's sovereignty and territorial integrity in accordance with universally-recognised principles of international law, including United Nations Charter. In this regard, it is imperative to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries concerned on the basis of the UN Charter and universally recognized international law.
India reserves its inherent right to take all appropriate and authorized military measures against any hostile act violating its territory, and is determined to vigorously defend its land, sea and air. The right to self-defense is an inherent right under customary international law and article 51 of the UN Charter. India firmly reserves a right to self-defense under international law. India's border troops firmly safeguard India's territorial sovereignty and security, and firmly deals with the China's side’s cross over and infringement activities. We have the right to take any and all countermeasures authorized under international law to China's aggression. It will have severe repercussions across international community. "While we are not seeking confrontation, we cannot and will not remain indifferent to the violation of our sovereignty. Therefore, in order to secure our LAC borders and interests, we will vigorously exercise our inherent right to self-defense under international law but not an aggression. India-China military stand-off escalation continues to be unabated with Indian Army and PLA hardened their respective positions close to LAC borders. Five round of Major-level talks between India-China failed to achieve any significant breakthrough. India ramped up reinforcements of high altitude arsenal & artillery guns, combat vehicles and intensify its militarization wherever international allows that would have far-reaching potential dangerous consequences with an unreasonable aggression on chinese side thereby heightening the dangers & conflict dynamics pose to china.
China has objected to India's infrastructure projects in LAC Ladakh is a reflection of China's resistance to opening up, as well as its arrogance, irresponsible approach towards border agreements and sense of exclusiveness. India has also maintained that its stated firm position on status quo would remain unchanged. it would not allow any unilateral change in status quo on the LAC. it is the Chinese side that has recently undertaken activity hindering India's normal patrolling patterns. The Indian side has always taken a very responsible approach towards border management.
Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has been, is and shall continue to be an integral part of India. China is well aware of India's consistent position on this issue. China should abide by border agreements & convention concluded between India-China rather than resorting to military confrontation. China should respect India's sovereignty and territorial integrity in accordance with universally-recognised principles of international law, including United Nations Charter. China should withdraw its troops from Indian territory. If China never withdrawn its troops then China should realize India will not make any compromises when it comes to its territorial integrity. India will take all necessary countermeasures to safeguard its legitimate and international lawful rights and interests. India reserves its inherent right to take all appropriate and authorized military measures against any hostile act violating its territory, and is determined to vigorously defend its land, sea and air.
